Where is peace found?
Within the sanctity of the heart?
Within the embrace of a lover?
Help me please
Where does love abound?
Deep within the soul?
During a romantic encounter?
Tell me now if you know
And happiness is it real?
Is it reserved for feelings only?
Can it be found in simplicity’s realm?
Is it finite or the stuff of barter?
These questions I do ponder.
Yet, deep down the answer is clear
Peace, Love, Happiness
All here for the taking
A choice of the spirit
Transcendent and illusive
Still a choice all the same
