A Sad Result of Excellent Creek Cave Poetry Recitals

Poem Artwork

Brother PeeWee Ed had a wonderful idea

A Creek Cave Poetry Recital

He called for poems of Cheese!!

Many wrote of aged harden rounds of milk

Cheese poems did abound

All very gouda!

But Brother PeeWee Ed has become obsessed

Those cheesy thoughts won’t leave him be

Through his mind they play and climb

Leaving him a shell with cheese

For thoughts of brie does fill his head.

Though, bound up those thoughts may be.

Can someone help our poor PeeWee

And rid his mind of smoked gouda, brie and American White?

Obsessed he is with thoughts of cheese.

Counseling seems the only answer

For helping him delete these thoughts

As there isn’t a CCA (Cheesy Cheese Anonymous)

Oh boy another case study for my PhD, Thank God!!!!
Believe that and I'll start a CCA 12-step.
Nicely done sugar plumb. Been outa town you see and miss'n the OCD on cheese. However, the Skitsoid poems on cheese I see are still a plenty. By the way thanks for the tasty snack of cheesy poetry.

Dear Ann,
You picked the wrong psychologist if you thought I could help. Besides I retired from psychology to spend time getting all the thoughts out of my mind which were crammed into it all the years I worked in psychology. I have my own cheese addiction although I do draw the line at smoked gouda. I once even belonged to a cheese club. The most interesting specimen I ever ran across was fromage grape, a french semisoft cheese with a coating of grape seeds in wax. Very tasty as I remember. I was sorry to see the last of it.
we also had a PeeWee here in Batavia who had a dancing addiction. Unfortunately he died recently, but had fun on the way out. There are much worse addictions.

Cute, perhaps we need to set up a "CCA" to help rid him of these delusional ideas of cheese.....

Be safe,
Karen

Ann, as you know CCA has no members. All the cheese-heads took this to the Supreme Cheese Court and had the group banned. Not so gouda of these folks, but oh well. The doctor in the house is the founding father & mother of the cheese-heads.

I once had a wise friend that used to say..."We'll have this!"
No more can be said.
Nope, not one more word about it!
Not a one.
No cheese....no!...No Ed, it will reak havoc on your waistline and
ya know what?...I believe if need be...there are several Dr.s in the house.
I'll give one of them a call!
BRB!
LOL!

Actually, if you must know, I'm an Obsessive-Compulsive. And being immortal, as all we ancient Eds are, I've gone through millions of obsessions already. Just last year about this time it was Cookies; I was deeply involved in the Cookie Wars with the Evil Queen A Pax, and I just couldn't eat enough cookies. Right now, it's cheese - but this too, shall pass!!!

LOL!! I think PeeWee will be fine once he gets his cheesy fill. Perhaps we should offer him up a few casserole recipes to help him wean off of the straight stuff. Cheese has been known to be highly addictive and at the very least the product of obsessive choice. I think it will "take a village" to get Ed through this current bout of substance abuse.
Take care,
Sherry
