My mother and two aunts would sing this to the tune of the Notre Dame fight song while working in the shipyard.

We are the welders from Dravo. We work in rain and even snow. We are here to win this war. We are so sorry that we can't do more. We buy a war bond every pay. An LST is on its way. For our service men we pray. Until they are safely home.
