Rockin' the Boat

Fishin' is a lot like marriage.
Both are great things to be doin'
and the rewards are
well worth the time spent ...
But you can sure get into
a lot of trouble with either of 'em
by rockin' the boat ...

Can't argue with the truth, here! But... sometimes a little rockin' can do wonders for a weary soul! ;-)
(Now I'm going to show my age... I'm suddenly stuck with an irritating little song in my head: "rock the boat; don't rock the boat, baby; rock the boat; don't tip the boat over...")

And there a lot of rocking where marriage is concerned. So the modern trend is not to marry at all. Victor

Great analogy, CJ. Another meaningful poem...full of wisdom! :)

Personally, I don't like boats, especially small ones, and I don't like any kind of rocking my marriage... :) Too much wasted energy and shouting "Ahoy, there...send help..."

God Bless
Lots of love
