I have so enjoyed the Ed saga.
Just couldn't resist adding.
So here goes.

Edwina, The Eldest
By Kathy Armijo

‘Twas a night many years ago
When the Ed’s did not allow sister Edwina to go
On their island scavenging
And rampaging

She was the eldest of the clan
To her fell cleaning and washing
Yet, a woman ahead of her time
She knew that pirating was not just for men

She plotted and planned after
Receiving a note from LaBelle Edwina
What did the future hold?
She’d had her fortune foretold

Edwina would be
Ms. Pirate Edwina the First
But to gain it the Ed’s had to be dead

When it was time to set her plan in motion
She set out to sail the ocean
For all her demureness
It was her brothers’ Ed and his band of men
That she hoped to vanquish in the end

She and LaBelle schemed to get them on the isle
With promises of great treasures –
Bordellos, spa and plenty of rum
The Eds’ did succumb
“Aye matey’s” said Ed to his band
This treasure will soon be in our hands

The Eds’ so wanted to displace these women of yore
Have them walk the planks or be a whore
It mattered not
The treasure would soon be theirs

Their landing on Belle Isle was ever so sweet
‘Twas a vision replete with beauty, food and rum
Edwina, LaBelle Edwina and their crew had prepared a great feast
Offering them treasures and to be Pirate King Ed

To this vanity the women fed
Promising breakfast in bed
For soon they’d be dead

An imaginative mind at work! A very lively and well-crafted story.
The weakness of men nicely told.

Greetings,

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, the more the merrier and we will beat those scally-wags "Ed's" at their own game and claim our fortunes.....

Bravo Me lass
Tis a fine piece you've scribe
Against that lot of sea going barnacle
eating vermins, Aye make them all walk
A short plank, but not before you put them
to the lash, than make them swap all the decks
And scrub the galley, ...keel hold the lot.
Where's me partner Capt. Morgan Mateos?????

Aye Kathy if Edwina is as cute as you then I just may have to take her on the helm of Captain Fee's Schooner before Hurricane Felix has his way with her.
