Out of nowhere
and into the icy lake
his red, blue and green
all soaking wet

Brownstone sat
on brown stone
waiting on the sun
of the son

he travels light
all through the night
searching for a place
that will be
this hero's home

ridiculed
by the closest of friends
longshot after longshot
fall after fall
and night after night
but Father's words
still rang clear
"You can do it my boy"
 

So believing he could
his imagination
running wild
He sees his future
as if it were already there
"I am leaving Ma'"
"Son you cannot go, 
there's nothing out there
but a dreamer's wish
you're no fool, stay"

Brownstone
bare
unequiped
with nothing but
a big dream in his head
and fire in his heart
set off for that faraway land
that made magic
out of dreamers

And in that land
Which sings of promises untold
he will make a bed of feathers
for the family he's yet to have 
preserving the legacy
that Father left behind
