symbols of the fall

Poem Artwork

the golden rays come shining through
the symbols of the fall
the falling leaves, the falling times
it all must change you know

I don’t worry so much of the golden age
the golden years and the renaissance
it is the in-between and the fall apart
new evolution brings revolution

conformity is the current disease
the democracy and the capitalists
hyping the media we are all its targets
unless you turn it off

look away from the pre-program
balance out the airways
how many more are unconscious still
blindly following the mass

the time will come to harvest
imagination, discoveries,
and breakthroughs of invention
don’t need the sins of exploitation
don’t need to dress in stress

the propaganda would have you believe
a fear based world of emptiness

and simply all I can think to say...is
"you can kiss this”

All the reason not to pay attention to propaganda, right. Must say I do like the "you can kiss this" attitude, well written...

Be always safe,
Karen

Faulous finale! I'm definitely with you on this one! I'm just thumbing through an Oxfam brochure, thinking about what gifts to buy peeps for Christmas... your write reminds me to give their Pants of Peace, which is actually a monetary contribution, in other words, towards efforts that will bring warring factions together to work to find alternatives to violence: an example, perhaps, of "you can kiss this"! The world will never be empty to those whose hearts are always full. :)) xx

Maybe it is time we go climbing back on the trees and started all over again, maybe this time we can get it right!

Amen! I have no regard for the media it has become totally unacceptable, with its falsity and self-imposed power to
influence the public who are foolish enough to take their
word for everything. Kudo's for an excellent poem Debby!
There is a Creator to be reckoned with and He still rules!
