i glanced at the calendar
it still says June
it feels like July
so i flip over the page
a photo of orange red canna

oh Georgia you have a way with color
the intricate folds
the depths of flow
immersed in the delicate
sensuous softness
alluring to the senses

perhaps the essence
would drift off the page
float through the night
and be welcomed
within the thoughts
able to receive

and sharing is what
life feeds on
nourishment of radiant
service to others
kingdoms of nature
celestial phases

for we are
ever becoming
enlightened beings
bringing heartfelt love
through personal journeys
to a greater community
