She filled the cauldron with clear cold water,
then she painstakingly stacked logs to build a fire.
Shrugging off her cloak, she did as her mother had taught her,
she whispered a chant as her fingers waved over the would-be pyre.
A light began to flicker then really started to glow.
She chanted as it grew brighter and smiled a pleased smile.
Outside, the windows glowed and reflected onto the snow.
She threw herbs and other things into the pot for a while.
After an hour or maybe it was more than two,
she was finished with chanting and the accompanying spell.
The finished product looked very much like stew
and considering she ate it, my guessing was done well.
