The sea whispers and softly sings its melody
and her waves rise and fall rhythmically.
The breeze that drifts across her now
seems to softly carress me somehow.
I sit on the rocks and search the sea
for my loved one to come back to me.
He kissed me softly and gently stroked my hand.
He loved me tenderly over there on the sand.
I know he is coming back, for the sea doesn’t lie.
She knows he is my own very special guy.
We are two halves of a whole and with him I am truly free.
When we are together again, we will return to the sea.
We will swim to the place he has found for him and me
and we will then live the rest of our days happily.
The sea whispers and softly sings…
through the night, my laughter rings.
My loved one has made his way back to me,
brought back by the gentle rolling of the sea.
