When the tough get going, why do we go to work?!?

Poem Artwork

**************************************************************************

Another day goes by, another time to reason why.

I don't know why we do it day in and day out.

Sometimes when I really think it through, I want to cry.

Of its terribleness, there is no doubt!

Oh why oh why did we ever invent jobs and or professions?

Surely it was someone who did it just to be boss!

Or, maybe it was someone who had really evil intentions.

To be honest with you, I would rather sit home and floss!

But each ho hum day in and incredibly boring day out.

We get up out of our comfortable beds

and we trudge to work with the regularity of the devout.

Maybe someone should examine our heads!

What do we get for toiling away at a jobly prison?!

We get hours a day away from family and friends.

I say we all gather together and strike! Get some reason!

Let time spent with the ones we love give us the real dividends

Haha, I can see you had a hard time going back to work after your fabulous holidays, Silver! What do we get? I guess we get another day alive and knowing we have such wonderful friends and family we can spend time with when it means the most! I know, abit lame but, hey, you asked! Stay sweet, Silver Celtic Moon!
