Talk About Luck!
Talk about luck, powerful investment, everyone making a killing, the deal is sound.
I invest in it the next day and watch it go spiraling down.
I purchase a ticket for an airline flight to go see my sons.
The next day the airline goes belly up and they’re making no runs.
I pay an exorbitant fee for taxes last year because I had a little gain.
The stock crashes after I write the check, this is insane.
We purchased a beautiful house but it was on unstable ground.
It fell totally apart two years later; benite soil is what they found.
I bought a three-year club membership for my daughter’s birthday gift.
The club never opened the doors, bankruptcy is what they called it.
We purchased amazing land in Wyoming with hundred year old trees.
Beetles are killing them by scores, it’s bringing us to our knees.
My husband purchased his dream truck, planned it to be his last.
One of our trees fell down on it, and his truck was totally trashed.
He bartered for a motorbike, it was kind of an even exchange,
The first time he started the bike, it caught fire and went up in flames.
Luck is what they call it. that name gives me the fits?
I have a better name for it and it’s called the pits!

Now that's bad luck. I hope your luck turns around soon. At least you've been able to keep a sense of humor about things. So many times, when faced with difficulty after difficulty, people give up or cave to the pressures and forget how to cope. Everything, however strangely so, happens for a reason and for every bad moment, a good one will come, eventually, to even the score. May your scores be evened soon.

*chuckling* I hear you - if you had no bad luck, you'd have no luck at all. PLEASE - just don't stand under a tree when it's lightning! LOL Poor thing - you are WAAAAAY overdue for good luck! I'll keep you in my prayer. Excellent, self depreciating humor - love it. And you!!
