Oh my, what can you say?

Poem Artwork

Forgetful

My husband’s getting forgetful; he hides things when we go away.
Then he can’t find them on our return, for at least a few days.
Sometimes it takes longer; to find the things he puts someplace.
He gets so frustrated and angry and it shows upon his face.

If he’d only hide the things the same place every time,
He would find them quickly and everything would be fine.
But no, he finds new places; he can’t remember which ones he used.
So he’s not the only one that gets frustrated, I too blow a fuse.

Last time he hid our keys to our car and my jewelry case.
It took three weeks to find them, the keys we had to replace.
I beseech him to leave the things alone. I plead and I beg.
If he doesn’t stop by Easter,
I’ll make him hide his own eggs.

Oh haha I liked this, great and humorous yet serious too.

Hmmm maybe you all could list all of his fav hiding places and just use those, at least it would be narrowed down some. Now it is hidden from yourself, that's funny. I liked reading this, well you enjoy finding what you have hidden.

Best of care,
~Gwendolyn

I like how you played this one out... you took something more serious and gave it some humor. Well done.
