Bare on a Bear Skin Rug
Little man bare on a bearskin rug was a delightful sight to see.
Taking many amazing pictures was such a treat for me.
This was a very special thing to do many years ago.
Little man wasn’t a bit afraid, who would ever know.
We thought he’d scream like a banshee when he saw the bear.
But he laid there so contented without a bit of fear.
We took loads of pictures and little man posed just like a champ,
It wasn’t until we were finished; we noticed the rug was damp.

My husband's prize possession is a bear skin. We hung it on a wall in our home. It was so long that the mouth ended up being positioned right beside the light switch. Our young daughters wouldn't even go into the room and would scream with fright and run if we asked them to turn the light on... hee, hee....
