Get Out That Monopoly Board
Get out the Monopoly board, the one we played when we were kids.
You know the one I mean, it’s in the garage under some lids.
This time let the whole world play and it will work just right.
For when we’re done, whether you win or lose, it ends every night.
So get out that board where everyone starts even, when we begin the game.
With the same amount of money and property, we all start the same.
The people who won before have to put all that money back into the pot.
Then we’re all going to begin again where no one person has the chosen lot.
Oh. if only life would be that simple and everyone had the same.
What a wonderful world this would be, each respecting the game.
Let’s tell Congress, this old Monopoly Game must end and a new one begins.
Where there’s no winners or losers & all money returned to the pot at the end.
Now you can divide the money equally, no more to some than the rest.
This would be how it’s played, now isn’t this Monopoly Game the BEST?
