Put Them In My Hat
I have so many crazy things going on inside my head.
Things I’ve gotta do and things that I might have said.
I don’t know what to do with all the stuff in there.
There should be a quick release button, it’s not fair.
I try leaving them at home when I’m out and about.
But that doesn’t help much; I still can’t get them out.
I try to escape in a good book, but can’t concentrate at all.
Because of all the crazy things in my head that I don’t recall.
I go somewhere and can’t remember why I went.
I go shopping for groceries when I haven’t got a cent.
Oh, this crazy forgetful brain is driving me insane.
Afraid to go to bed, for tomorrow I won’t recall my name.
Yesterday, I just wanted to hit my head with baseball bat.
That’s when I decided immediately to put them in my hat.
