A little hearing loss and little alzheimers mixed together can make a very interesting life. Ask Ma and Pa...This subject is terrifying but also can have a funny side. This is not meant to offend anyone for a lot of this has a little of my life and my husbands parents life in it.

Ma & Pa

Conversation
“Pa, did you see what I did with my new black boots?”
“Who said that I’m an old blue bat coot?”

”Oh for Heaven sake Pa, I said black boots.”
“When did heaven get black shoots?”

“Oh forget it Pa, are you getting hungry yet?”
“No, I lost my butt the last time I placed a bet.”

Ma said,
“Oh, this is frustrating no wonder I don’t speak.”
“Everything I say, I always have to repeat!”

Conversation
“Pa, its time for bed now, need help getting up?”
“No Ma, none for me I just filled my cup.”

Ma said,
“I’m goin to bed Pa, you can sleep there in that chair.”
When she turned around, he was completely bare.

“OH Lord, what did I do to deserve this?”
“Pa came up behind her and gave her one hot kiss.”

“O’ Pa, that’s why I stay, no one else kisses like you?”
When she looked back, Pa was peeing in his shoe.
