O’Malley’s Love Bug
O’Malley awoke and was headed for his beloved bathing stream.
As he got closer he heard a woman sing and then let out a scream.
He dropped his towel in front of him from pure unadulterated shock.
For right in front of him stood a beautiful Nymph sitting by the dock.
She was the most beautiful Nymph O’Malley had ever seen.
She was nude from bathing, and her body was wet and gleamed.
He couldn’t turn away from looking no matter how hard he tried.
So he just stood there, as the Nymph slowly toweled and dried.
“Excuse me,” ” said the Nymph, Can’t you see I’m bathing?
And the looks she gave him were nothing but scathing.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” I didn’t expect anyone to be in my stream.
I was so shocked and horrified when I heard your scream.
“Well, could you turn around so I can get dressed at least?”
So O’Malley did what she requested for he wasn’t a beast.
When she was done, she walked to O’Malley who was just standing there.
“My name is Tessa and this kind of stream is so beautifully rare.”
“I’m sorry if I intruded on your private beautiful bathing stream.”
“Is there anyway I can pay you for my bath, can I be redeemed?”
“Oh, don’t worry about it Tessa, you just startled me that’s all.”
“I’m glad you enjoyed your bath, if you do it again, just give me a call.”
“My name is O’Malley and I live right here by the old rock.”
“Just stop by and tell me because I don’t have a phone or a clock.”
“You are so kind O’Malley and I might just take you up on that.”
“For I don’t have a place to live and I’ll stop by soon and we’ll have a chat.”
O’Malley was in a daze and struck by the love bug that is for sure.
And he realized, for him there wouldn’t be any quick cure.
So the rest of the day he thought about his beloved swimming hole.
And of course the Nymph he saw there and the love bug took its toll.
