My Words My words have never been enough to convey my thoughts... as darkness prevails my world. Shallow in my grave of regrets chains of sins prison salvation to barren pits of self pity, acceptance dulls reputes of hope. Scorch within walls of destruction hells flames flickers warmth, that blankets my soul with evil�s ale of justice. Damnation by the impurity of life�s reality my words have never been enough to convey my thoughts... much less save my soul. Copyright 2002 Tracey L. Hardie (written for a poetry challenge)

Words are never enough, no matter how profound, to express our inner feelings. We drift through life seeking the magic elixir that will transform our words into exactly what we think and feel. It will never happen. And even if if did, the one who heard them spoken might reject them as lies. Bill Hugs
