Been reading Ogden Nash. Can you tell?;)

Poem Artwork

Just when I think I am getting somewhere
Some show-off scales Mount Everest.
Tell me it is freezing up there!
How yesterday is the day-glo vest?

Then there are all those Olympic medalists
Got muscles up the yin-yang.
Your swimmers, your runners, your pedalists.
I exercised once, and it stang.

As for the geniuses that invent stuff,
Look where they have gotten us.
Another Bill Gates?   Shut up!
Last upgrade unleashed a hippopotamus!

Turn off the TV if there's cliff-diving.
Tight-wire walk, no.  Boxing, no.
Never been into Death-defying.
More popcorn?  Chips?   Yo--??

lol. I understand what you are writing. And I must say that you write wonderfully. So, neither one of us is Bill Gates. I, for one, wouldn't know what to do with all that money anyway. Great write. Liz

That really good microwave popcorn, the kind that leaves butter dripping down the tips of my fingers, coupled with the hugest of TV screens and a really great recliner, has left me much the same. On the flip-side, I feel totally qualified to judge ice skaters, cliff divers, and those toddlers who contort themselves while flying through the air.

Yep, you nailed it.
