HAPPY HOLI-DAZE !!

Hope you like gag gifts.;)

(Sorry about being incommunicado. Hope to do better in 2011.)

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Poem Artwork

Googlers are agoggle, Tweeters are atwitter,
‘cuz Bah Humbug hacked into the Claus’s pc’s
And found out they guzzle eggnog and titter
While the rest of us do the work. “Ho-ho, tee-hee.”

Now I know for sure that undercover elves
Gobbled the Halloween candy I saved to fill socks.
(Turns out it is you who said I ate it myself,
Guess who is gonna wake to a sockful of rocks.)

Elves are so mean.  They clog up my vacuum
With tinsel I swear wasn’t here before.
Last night, they handcuffed me in the back room
With ribbon they somehow found on the floor.

They break ornaments and scatter the glass.
They tear paper as I am trying to wrap.
I don’t mean to sound crass,
But they’re making my house look like crap.

Colorful mess.  Who says a tree must be perpendicular?
Lights are twinkling, all of us are tickled,  hooray!
Rumor ‘bout Santa, guys.  He an’ the missez are sticklers.
Hear sleigh bells jingle-ing-ing!   Up, up and away!!

Speaking strictly as a subordinate Clause, I find all this Christmas jeer to be a bit of an elve-ic tilt-and-whirl ride, but you sure played if for all the mirth it was worth. Good on ya for seasoning Santa with a bit of spice.

“Up, up and away!”

In my beautiful balloon.

No tree this year. No its not an eco thing or a poverty ploy. I killed the elves here and ate them for breakfast. Tasted crappy and I'm sure Santa will want a refund. Patrick
