Dear Jesus
Can I be an angel
What can I do
I want to go to heaven
Do you need me too
I promise I'll be good
I'll dance around your throne
Mommy won't even notice
That I'm gone

Angel's don't bleed
Or do they cry
They bounce cloud to cloud
On wings that fly
Angel's don't hurt
From a body black and blue
Jesus, please take me
To heaven with you

Angel's aren't scared
They don't feel no pain
They don't lay on sheets
With crimstone bloodstains
Angel's don't have bruises
Or cry in the night
Angel's don't hide in closets
To keep out of sight

Angel's don't hurt
From a body black and blue
Jesus, please take me
To heaven with you

Amen

So touching Linda. Angel's don't have physical bodies. It's really a pain living in the body at times. It would be nice to exist in pure angel energy. Nice poetic Angel write. l&p G

Oh dearest Linda how I have missed your writes so beautiful, sharing and caring from a golden heart...YOU!!!! This is soooooooo beautiful and touching and brought back some real painful memories of things my husband and I are still going thru with Gabriella...she was not physically abused as in hit, but she was sexually molested/abused by some older children in the neighborhood who took advantage of her knowing she is severe with ADHD and ODD and it has been a total devestation to our family BUT your so correct with this post "Angel's (Children) Don't Cry" as she has not yet shed one tear! She is such a little trooper and angel! I am so glad to see you still posting your lovely poetry like this!
((((Hugs))))

Dear Linda, I just read your comment on another poem, and my heart weeps for you. You are such a wonderful poet. Your specialty is writing about others in pain. You don't say much about your pain, but I know it is there and the struggle you are going through to live and love and find happiness. I always knew that, but you turned me away. In this poem I weap for the child and I weep for the child in you. Life does not have to be bitter. You can't escape forever inside yourself. Write about your pain Linda! Let others come to you with loving and caring comments, and this will change it.Hugs your friend Bill

Salutations Mother-Angel-Author-Poet Linda M. Hill.

Greetings.

Maybe Angel’s Don’t Cry, but I am as I try to type this through welled eyes. If there ever were an Angel walking amongst us, it must be You Poet!!! This subject can only be properly handled and addressed adequately by Your quill!!! I am absolutely beside myself… Thank You for speaking on behalf of the children!!! Please write that book!!!

My Deepest Gratitude, Respect and Admiration.

Linda, this heartwrenching and boldly exposed story is brillantly and intensly told. Secrets of black and blue continue to dance a dark, dirty dance in the corners and closets of our wolrd. Only Jesus can set this straight and take away the pain. Linda, I believe angels do cry . . . they are us, our children, our women, our men . . . gravely mistreated . . . abused . . .

keep telling the story,
Marion

another excellent write my friend, on the ill affect of child abuse. If this child were to survive, and without the grace of God...what kind of chance will this child have? Will the scars make them strong or will it tear them asunder? Excellent piece.
