Good to see you back Linda. Very good writing, makes you feel sorrow for the poor children that have to live like that.
it amazes me how you are able to write about
these horrific subjects
enuf for one to be captured by them
to have the feelings that would normally stay balled-up
on the page touch us the reader the way you do
very talented, you are and i hope more are able to read this
other than us....you do this well!!!
My dearest Linda, so wonderful to have you back and so wonderful to read your work again, as usual you have reached deep into your heart to touch ours with the sad plight of those abused. This is a great write on a hard and emotional subject but as usual your talent shines through.

This piece just drips with both despair and hope. And terrible sorrow. The cadence of the words enhances the atmosphere. Well thought out, well written.
Light brings about troubles that cannot be projected or protested because of guilt or weakness by mind or status or age! darkness comes to our rescue in such events! Children take the rescue of the darkness on many troubles of ill treatment by elders when they are guilt of some wong, though innocently. thank you dear Linda for sharing the fears of the children, You understand children very well,I know!

We have more "enforceable" laws pertaining to animals in this country than there are concerning children. We do have laws concerning kids, but they are not enforced very much from what I see. Good one, Lisa.
Heartbreaking Linda. I have written with a similar theme. If there is one thing that gets to me it is cruelty to children. Thank you for standing up and making your voice heard. Exceptionally well written.

Sad and it was where I hid when my abuser came around. I can relate to this.
touched me deeply, Linda, and I hope if it is inspired by real events someone finds a way to help this little boy. it's lonely hiding in closets. I don't talk much about it, but I can remember.
