His love knows no end

Like a long lost friend

Your Ode to Blackie is wonderful, Linda. They truly are the best friends we humans could ever have, and they never ask for very much, except a little love.

I have one of those too...Her name is Boomer, she is about sixteen pounds of grit and steel. She is a little spotted rat terrior and a wonderful little foot warmer, companion, pet and friend! She is constantly by my side. Amazing how close one can get to these little guys! Great tribute...

Your little doggie's coat is so black it looks blue--almost like he just came from the doggie beauty shop. He's adorable and I can just imagine how much joy he brings to you---like a child would. Nice ode written to Blackie. Have you read it to him? LOL
