Hello Linda. I have to say I really like this poem. "My first book was written mainly to make that same point." It is my first so I am not sure how good it is until I start hearing from people who wrote it. I did go out on a limb and not tell the traditional Genesis. One: I thought that might be copywrite infringement and Two: Not very original. I hope ppl like it and don't hang me for my originality...lol...anyway...great job on this poem...I believe it is the best one I have read so far.

Very good, Linda. I wonder the same thing, how can anyone live such an empty life. I have had weak faith in my life and some very sad day's but to not believe is beyond my imagination. I because a Christian at a young age and suffered years of weak faith but even with this said, I still believed. Some of us have to grow and mature in our faith.
They say they're an atheist, but Who do they call out to when things get rough? The last One they call out to when they give their last breath? Sure isn't their OWN name. Food for thought, and very well penned.
