My precious little one - you are on
my mind today-
There are so many thing's I really
need to say.
The day you were born- was a
bittersweet day for me-
Thou I loved you very much, I
had to set you free.
I had to allow you a better life
than I could afford to give-
A chance for a good future - a chance
for you to live!

I picture you lying in your bed
with your little teddy bear-
Covers up around your head-
red ribbons in your hair.
I wonder if you're happy, honey-
are you safe from harm?
Oh God , how I would love to just
hold you in my arms!
See the face that I have pictured
deep within my heart-
Touch the little girl of mine - let
no one break us apart!

How I miss you, my sweet baby -
How I think of you!
I wish I could be a part of every
thing you do.
Are your eyes still as bright
as they were years ago?
Do you dance in the sunshine-
Play in the snow?
Do you watch Blues Clues or do
you like Sesame Street?
What are your favorite toys-
What do you like to eat?

Know that all my life I will hold you
close to me-
No matter where the road leads
there you will be.
I will always love you - always
see your loving face-
In every little girl I see you
will be in her place.
I picture you lying in your bed
with your little teddy bear-
Covers up around your head-
Red ribbons in your hair!

Love dominates my thoughts and I hope you are not 'away.' Please come back and write again, we love you and I love your work so much! Hugs Bill

Linda,

What a beautiful write. I had a friend years ago, who made that decision. It has been at least 20 years ago, but to this day she never forgot "Michael". She never regretted the decision she made, but at the same time, has never gotten over giving him up. God Bless

Linda, I've read this before, but it never loses it's strength to make me cry. I've never had to witness these feelings for myself but I know the pain must be unbearable at times,,my prayers remain with you,,,,Lisa
