Poem Artwork

Life is but a vapor
That we cannot see
Darkness and pain
Overwhelm me
I try not to feel
I try not to cry
I'm like a sparrow with a broken wing
Whos forgotten how
To fly...

I wish I were a statue
With stone for a heart
Eyes that shed no tears
No pain can start
I wish I was in a world
Where dreams never die
I'm like a sparrow with a broken wing
Whos forgotten how
To fly...

Linda, many things are much stronger after they have mended than before they were broken. I think you will be one of them! Wonderfully written expression of the pain and frustration of being human and hurtable.

Linda Mae, one day you will fly so high that your heart will sing. Happiness is close. Dry your eyes and live up to your promise. So many have counted on you for solace. Do not let them down. Your life is due to change. Let it be for the better, not the worse. Bill
