Wow. Reminds me of Danielle Steel's "The Journey Home". Starts off just like this poem ;) Great job, Linda. It's touching.

Most Excellent__ Reprimanding a Child & Yelling at Child Are 2 Different Thing's__ But A Child Starts . 3,4,5, Must Learn Discipline,a Form Of Fear Which Becomes RESPECT__

Whether It Is YOU Momma Or Daddy That Child Will Respect You Or Dis Respect You In Same__

Never Can You Buy His/Her Love_ Just Give Him a Car, Credit Card Or $$$$ To Get Him Outa My Face,i.e. BIG Dis-Respect!

i know the scars of verbal abuse all too well, and years later, i still live with the pain. all i can do is ask god to forgive those who hurt me and go on with my life! powerful, gut-wrenching write! (((HUGS))) and love, your friend, karen lynn. :( >tears <

Oh this is so sad! Makes me ache to know that this horrible thing happens to so many children! This poem hopefully will keep us aware and maybe we'll be able to help some poor little child!

Linda, very well written. This is sooo! sad. I have never figured how someone could inflict such pain and burden on another. Especially ones' own child.
