Alone.
No one can hurt me
In my own
Dark world
Of pain
I can't feel Mommys
Beatings here
Or hear Daddy call
Me stupid
Or no count

Alone.
In a black void
Somewhere in the
Recesses of
My mind
Hiding here
Where Mommy can't
Find me
Blows can't
Touch me

Alone.
Where Daddys don't
Come home drunk
And raging
And Mommys aren't
Allowed in
Swallowed in a
World hidden
From anyone
My own corner
My own hell

Where Mommy can't
Find me
Blows can't
Touch me

Child abuse in any form angers me. Being a surrivior of abuse as a child this one touches me deeply,

ohhhhhhhhh *tears*

i know the pain well...and that pic *chills*

i've felt that loneliness many times...especially when remembering my parents calling me stupid...telling me that i'd never succeed...that my dreams were stupid...and being banished to the basement...like they were ashamed of me...

ohhhh, the hurt...

captured too well...intense write

Where Mommy can't
Find me
Blows can't
Touch me

Ahh this is my specialty.. These feelings.. trying to hide from the impossible monsters.. Never really can. They are in her own private hell.. and in some ways will always be. Very sad reminder. Excellent message here.
