Zack has had his angel wings a year
ago today. He's been in heaven with
his Jesus with no more pain..no more
tears. I'm sure everyone remembers my
tributes to little Zack. He was 2 1/2 years old and he had hepatoblastoma, a
form of liver cancer found in children three yrs old or under. It had spread to
his lungs and spleen. I cannot imagine
a family having to go through this kind
of tragedy. His precious family..Beth..his grandma...Becky..his Mom..Mike..his dad..and little Jake, his baby brother, may God continue to
be with you and giving you strength. Thank you Beth , for staying in touch with me. You are a dear friend. This is for little Zack...who's smiling down from heaven ...
One year with my Jesus
I cannot comprehend
How beautiful and blessed
This year has been
Do you know what its like
Living without pain
I can play on the clouds
Dance in the rain
**********************
Grandma look up to heaven
There I’ll be
I’m watching over you
Though you cannot see
Don't cry for me Mama
Dry your tears
Jesus has taken away
All my fears
**********************
Daddy, I miss you
But know that I am free
From all the hurt and tears
That haunted me
Jesus gave me angel wings
Taught me how to fly
I am so happy here
There is no need to cry
*********************
Jake, my baby brother
Sometimes I hold your hand
You are growing into
Daddy’s little man
I watch you soundly sleeping
You just don’t know
You have a brother in heaven
Who loves you so
ohmygod, this made me CRY! what a beautiful heartfelt write; and the picture is absolutely precious! thanks for remembering such a special little boy and his grieving family; his family is in my prayers! :( (((HUGS))) and much love, your texas friend, karen lynn. >tears <
What can I say about the most caring and compassionate people I know. What a beautiful tribute to my grandson. I miss him so much. It was exactly 1 year ago at 11:16 am today that he earned his wings. I find this 1st "angel day" so difficult to get through. I re-read all the poems that you did during his treatment and when he passed. Also, the ones by the twins Karen Lynn Vidra and Karla J. Doorman. I cried reading not only the poems, but the compassion from those that rated the poems. You have made remembering him a "forever" treasure. I love you my dear friend.
God Bless you.
