Sad to think she isn't here to share this with you. My mom is well and we share e-mails often. However, I got a call from her area code today and it scared me. Thank goodness it was only a fellow classmate telling me about our 50th reunion.

Annabel,
Beautiful and heartfelt poem that brought tears. I also miss my Mom so very much. I lost her years ago to a drunk driver. She was only 39 yrs old. She's always in my heart and mind. Thank you for thie outstanding poem. To all who still have their Mothers give them a big hug and tell them you love them...before its too late.

I don't think we ever truly get over or forget our parents when they are kind, loving and caring, which sounds like yours were. My parents have been gone for over thirty years and I still miss them on Mothers and Fathers day as well...
