I think my inner child was at work yesterday when I woke up.

Poem Artwork

 Otherlands

Come with me to the Otherlands

Where life is built on dreams

Where fairies dance and children play

Beneath the rainbow beams

The trees are filled with butterflies

And blue bees that do not sting

There's honey dripping from their hives

There are Unicorns with wings

There are waterfalls and crystal ponds

With dragonflies and frogs

There are fluffy kittens bounding 'round

And cuddly puppy dogs

We are captains of a pirate ship

That we alone can guide

Amid the seas of candy floss

Where golden dolphins glide

This is a place where we can go

When we crawl inside our bed

Where we snuggle down and cuddle in

To rest our sleepy head

Our visions are so colorful

And the sun is super bright

As we sleep so sweet and cozy

While we dream away the night

Very lyrical and wonderful to read. So fanciful with an illustration that fits perfectly.

This seems to be more of a child's dream than an adult one. My dreams, perhaps because of my belief and action never include these kinds of creatures.

Always good to see you posting occasionally.
