'victim falls through'

Frozen pond

Skaters on

Someone or

something is

lurking beneath

the frosted

surface . . .

 

An unsuspecting

victim falls

through – all

assume thin

ice; was

not; body

lost . . .

 

Sign goes

up – “Skate

at Own

Risk” – does

not deter

Reducing town’s

populace . . .

 

Pond is

drained; nothing

found – no

persons or

‘creature’; town

folk very

concerned . . .

 

Set a

trap; put

out a

decoy with

TNT – Iceman

dead man’s

float . . .

the deep murk of darkness unveils a frozen abyss as "The Iceman" haunts our suspended thoughts luring in these haunting words...
