Poem Artwork

Sometimes,
You scare me,
When you look into my eyes,
I always fear,
Your despise...

Sometimes,
You frighten me,
And I don't even know why-
Your friendship so special,
It makes me want to cry...

Can't believe I am doing this,
I always seem to miss,
The little things I do wrong,
I know my heart,
Is not that strong...

Sometimes,
I wish I had stayed hidden,
For some of us,
Love is forbidden...

Then I see your hand,
Waiting patiently, unlike any man,
I have ever known before,
And I want to know more...

Sometimes,
I'm afraid to say it,
Don't really want to admit,
That you mean so much to me,
But once I see you,
There is nothing left to do,

But love you...

That is the thing about Love ... we cannot give it until/unless we open our hearts and make ourselves vulnerable. Beautifully written Reindeer.

I do say as I get older I don't carry the truth as well as I used to...I keep spilling it now.
Life is to short. We have these feelings...so I go ahead and admit it.
Come what may, I will have been me.
Best wishes.

Sometimes love can be quite intimidating, especially when you are afraid to tell them so, in fear they don't feel the same way. In life though some chances must be taken, this would be one of them. Great write! ~SH~
