I cant keep being,
What you want,
Your making me more fake,
Then I already am,
Why cant you just let me be,
Me?
Men,
All the same,
Fall in love
With who you are…
Then it starts-
They want you to change,
Smile…
Play the game-
It’s not real,
it’s not me-
Can't you see?
How much I hate
What you’re doing to me?
God,
Leave me,
Your making me crash,
Let me burn-
Let me cut away the pain
Let me feel real again!
You’re bleeding me dry…
Plastic dolls don’t cry,
And stainless steel
Don’t rust,
And blood slides off the edges,
So smooth,
And when it dries,
It cleans up real nice,
Hardly a stain at all…

These words are moving. It is one thing to lose yourself in love but it is another to lose "SELF" in it. If it breaks one's soul, indeed...it is NOT love. Your words are everything perfection defines! Your mind is something else lady! Library....this one goes.

What I've learned is that when someone wants you to change who you are, it's a sign of that person's weakness - an attempt at control. Don't allow it, period. For yourself, OK?
