I hope you really feel this for what it is. The drawing is not mine. I wish I could draw like that.
Tears
Your absence has left tears in the fabric of my soul My spirit weeps tears of sorrow falling to the soil of regret water the weeds of uncertainty I dare not pull them out lest they are all that’s left of my purpose without you
Sadly, I can cry with you too, I'm sad over things that need me to shed tears too. Each and every day, I think of shedding tears and do mostly by myself.
FOR WHATEVER REASON IT WEEPS...THE WEEPING SOUL MUST WAIT UNTIL THE PAIN OF THE LOSS IS QUELLED. THIS COMES ONLY WITH...TIME. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...
JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Regret of mistakes are hindsight and sorrow...if you love something, set it free! If it comes back to you, it's yours, it not,it never was... Each has been there one time or another.
Peace,
Sharon

much in a few, perfectly-chosen words. Bravo!!

Hi Regis--this is so touching and beautiful. I agree with the words, too. My love life hasn't gone the way I wanted it to. I have a tendency to write a lot of "poor old me" poems. Great poem. Penni

Wow...so delicately written...and yet with so much power...excellent...Fletcher B
Wow! That ending really grabs the heart! Very moving~ for some reason in my mind I kept taking away the first three lines- I don't know, I'm just weird. I was trying to see how it would work without the first tears. Great write, as always.
This is such a quintessential write, Regis - truly masterful and thoroughly honed and considered. Not one word too many; not one word too few. Perfect clarity and concentration of thoughts distilled through the crucible of pain. Regret of the past and uncertainty about the future, here, I think... and yet maybe also not enirely without hope of redemption that perhaps those weeds will become in fact, wild roses or newly cultivated blooms in some kind of metamorphosis?! As your words, so with your beautiful pencil drawing... clear, lightly expressed, delicate. And not YOUR own eye weeping here, but maybe that of your lady who is likewise confused and in pain?! I would like to think so and to dare to hope for resolution. Loved therefore the twin tears appearing on the beautiful face...your eyes see deeply, Regis. Bless you for this. Kate xx
Your poem,Regis,has touched my
inner spark of my child. Only one other person
has touched it in the past few days by writing a
poem. Thank you for letting me go back to childhood
without any fear. You are a blessing!!!!!
I am working on it!
Rolling with the punches!
Love to you and your family,

Short and poignant. Just the way I like them. Good job, Regis.

Your words are truly moving, Regis, they have touched me deeply.
This is a beautiful piece, and these words you wrote are most momentous. Superbly penned!
Regis, my Friend, your latest poem Tears reflects my emotions these days...so many heartfelt tears within my soul my spirit...although unable to physically shed them. However, I prefer to see my tears falling on a beautiful garden yet to blossom.
Love and Peace to you my friend,
ann
My other half is quite far away right now! Tears are a heartfelt expressioin of an emotion some of us cannot relinquish, but feel with so much intensity it is hard to quiet the thoughts...weeds are plants too, and they cry when they are pulled from the ground, effectively killing them...hope your tears are short lived...Peace dear friend, Ed & Rufuz
Water them till they want for no more, then another garden will be ready for the nurturing.
Peace and love to you always

Brings back thoughts I regret to have suffered. Fortunately, tears eventually do have to dry. I love to read poetry where every line packs a punch, Regis. Excellent work [to understate.]
