Happy Halloween, dear lovely lady; Allow me, my name is Lord Shady. Please come with me to the witches’ ball, Perhaps we’ll dance in their haunted hall; You will be pleased to have heeded my call.
Hark! Can you hear the werewolf’s howl? All around, the misty night foul. Large hungry bats populate the air, Longing to taste you, my lady fair. Oh ‘tis a strange and wicked night, Wee ones scream with delightful fright. Every ghost is out and about, Entering our home without a doubt; Now, my lady, you may wish to shout.
Regis, Halloweeny this is and two ghoulish acrostics to boot. The kiddies probably came your way to collect up their treats. I am a couple of weeks late in reading these, but it matters not as I enjoyed them both. I wish you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

Another amazing Regis work. You are so multi talented my friend. I have missed not coming here. I have been very ill and just now starting to recover.

I am sorry for this late review, Regis. I try to avoid the night of ghosts and goblins. But this fine writing was well worth the read..........Peace, Tony.
I found the flow to be a bit off throughout the poem. The poem was fun though. Acrostics are not always easy to write especially with rhyme but you've managed to pull it off quite nicely. Thanks for sharing.
Delightful, Regis... and just the ticket for someone who can deal with Halloween only on the most funsome levels of The Munsters et al. Your Count and Countess Creepy here are divine! Free-flowing acrostic that, as always, you make seem so effortless. :)) xx
All Hallows Eve for the night it will be
'Tis many a groan in shadows a hind thee
Creaking the gate keeper opens yer door
Now my dear gent, dare ya seek therefore more?
Her pallor was pale, aye her skin cold as ice
Flowing in black, you are drawn to her side
Aye you have called her, are you pleased now it be?
For down to the depths of the tomb she called thee
:)
Couldn't resist...
Wonderful Regis, but everything you write is an
absolute delight and joy to read giving us a
clear picture of this Hallows Eve night :)
For you will find your lights turned out? Just adding a last line.
I learned yesterday that vampire bats are so small that they can land on a person, take a half hour to drink their fill, and leave without the victim even knowing that they were there.
Tasked by his Goddess to find, relocate, and then quicken, the last three Heart Tree gem-seeds, Vanx the bard, and his motley crew of adventurers, set out to do just that.

Now that's what I call stealth.
