Concise and Credible
My 5-Star Review in entirety published on Amazon for ‘No! How To Say It So They Know You Mean It’ by Joanne Van Leerdam:
How long does it take one to read Joanne Van Leerdam’s 30-page Motivational Self-Help Book? Forty-five minutes—more or less.
Touché!
There’s more than meets the eye between the covers of this “living” reference book—essentially a life coach in print, one can re-read on a needed basis. Let’s face it, there will always be a situation requiring the articulation of “no” like you really mean it. When called for, “no” reinforces boundaries, promotes independence, and safeguards integrity.
Combining various manifestations of body language, facial gestures, and vocal expressions—the author provides more than 40 ways to stand your ground, from the subtle to the most obvious. Where there’s a will, there’s a way to get your point across.
I hope I’ll never have to go so far as to block my ears.
Concise and credible, this book contains tried-and-true techniques at your fingertips.
