True to author J.S. Frankel’s noble literary cause, he exonerates teens who don’t have much going for them. Like Colin Nicholson who frequents the movie theater to watch the same action film over and over. Then, one day, Leanna Bailey from a futuristic parallel earth, steps out of the screen, fleeing from an egomaniac with a blaster who is determined to steal her transporter. Destroying Earth is also on his agenda.

The Sci-Fi adventure unfolds with interdimensional travel beset with evildoers in pursuit as the two traverse Hell Earth, Beach World, New Rome, and New Chicago. Surviving each perilous situation, Colin becomes one of those self-made heroes born out of circumstances. During that process, he develops the courage to thwart villains motivated by greed and lust for power.

The reader is taken along a thrilling venture, “hopping” in and out of portals with Leanna and Colin, while encountering several red herrings along the way. There is plenty of humor and a plethora of bizarre characters—many of whom are reduced to a pulp.

I highly recommend this book. As Colin might say, “It rules!”
