Having gotten caught up in the multilayered suspense of ‘Deception, Love & Lies’ (Book1), I acquired Book 2 to see if any of the loose ends are tied.
Without providing any spoilers, some are. Others morph into a labyrinth of intrigue centered on British agent, Chad Everette’s kidnapping.
In addition to rampant betrayal and murder, the author interweaves romance and the heart-wrenching saga of the Amur leopards. Once more, she clearly delineates each minor character and their motives. Her technical details lead the reader to believe she knows the ins and outs of an operative’s life.
The abrupt ending leaves the reader inquisitive for delving into Book 3.
I highly recommend this action-packed page-turner.
