Oozing Spiritual Southern Charm

I acquired a signed print copy from the author. In the addendum of this short story, she cites the inspiration behind ‘Raemkai’s Stairs’. Sure enough, throughout this metaphysical & visionary fiction, there are several references to an old house in Memphis, Tennessee, a former haven for bikers and hippies.

She recreates her own imaginative narrative of a cursed demon named Raemkai who has been trapped inside an abandoned mansion, never to venture more than a few feet from a staircase. The reader soon falls under Woldering’s spell as she weaves a tale oozing spiritual charm. Past lives, shape-shifting, a trapped soul, witchery, and duped occupants of the house are components which will certainly light the reader’s fire on every page.

I highly recommend this southern charmer.
