In conjunction with the title of Terry Kerr’s heart-thumping, psychological ghost fiction, this reader hangs onto a glimmer of hope for Paul Grey—an unimaginative, well-adjusted man who deals, and is not one to dig below the surface. Until a blue-eyed, blonde-haired apparition forces him to think “outside the box” and urges Paul to stop “him”. When, for all of his efforts, he’s gotten his nose squashed, his teeth mashed, and his collar bone crunched, while daring to hope he can make amends with a loving woman he ejected from his life.

Anyway, who is Paul to stop? More than one usual suspect who fits the bill, there’s more than meets the eye throughout this novel steeped in grief.

‘Pandora’s Last Act’ is illustrative of Terry Kerr’s writing chops:

All of his characters pulsate with life. His dialogue is driven by realism and raw emotion. His introspective narrative brings out several unpleasant, universal truths for the reader to confront—“This place is run by a man, and at root, all men stick together.”

If reader reaction counts, I highly recommend this page-turner wrought with gut-wrenching emotion and unpredictable plot twists from start to finish.
