Swine Flu...nature getting back at us? 4/27/2009 7:36:53 AM
Experts warned the world was teetering on the brink of a killer Swine flu pandemic that may be worse than anything seen before... Scientists fear the disease that has claimed many lives in Mexico could sweep rapidly across the globe. The flu has already reached America,Canada,New Zealand, France, Holland, Israel and Spain.
One Professor has stated, "worst case scenario, it could kill around 120 million people."
So is this natures way of reducing the earths population...
A Pandemic is an epidemic of infectious disease that spreads across a continent or worldwide. The first recorded influenza pandemic was in 1510, it spread from Africa to Europe.
Spanish flu, first recorded in Kansas in 1918, killed 50 million people worldwide and Asian flu killed 70,000 people in America in the 1950's. Ten years later 34,000 died of Hong Kong flu.
In recent times, AIDS, MRSA and 'Bird flu' have claimed many lives...
So is this natures way or as some devout religious groups will tell you it is all signs that we are living in the last days!
