Life After Proof Reading. 9/2/2009 12:32:32 PM
After many hours of believing I was seeing words that were never there, sanity has returned. (though less generous would say otherwise.) At last proof readers eyes are slowly returning to normal.
Found some fantastic reading glasses in a shop sale, brand name and going for £1.00. Just right sitting next to this computer, always leaving my others where I cannot see them. Think my brain needs proofreading.
Going to see my grandchildren for two days tomorrow, I will take me camera and attach a few suitable ones to some of my poems.
Then when I am back its full steam ahead into the two FATHER MILLIGAN books I began a few months ago, plus I still have the follow up to BASRADVA. This being retired is more busy than when I worked as a care assistant out on district. I enjoyed that job, there for 22 years.
Its nearly 10 pm here and its pouring down with rain, but thats good the soil is dry, needs a lot of watering.
Monday evening I am going to group that meets once a month, its a mix of writers and actors, and is aimed at script writing, play writing etc. Well thats an area I really would like some advice and critical leads. I have written a musical 'The Auch 'n' on the Fiddle', Thats Glaswegian for The Hotel on the Fiddle. Its a comedy, so I may enjoy it.
And not to forget this Sunday I am at the Southbank Center London to be entertained by Incects.
