Hope you're all doing well. So- anyway- I'm over half way through Lent, having given up applesauce, and I'm doing very well with my Lenten program. But what I think happened is- I was doing so well-other people started getting jealous, so they started to criticize my choice of a sacrifice for God for the Lenten season of 2011. Last year I gave up swearing, so I had a tough act to follow. You know, if you gave up swearing last year- what the heck can you do this year?
But I wish folks would just live and let live. I don’t judge people.
Now a friend of mine, he gave up bobsledding for Lent. I’m not judging him, really I’m not. But I have to be honest. I’ve been watching him. The guy is back sliding. Hey, not my call.
