Out of the depths of despair rises a phoenix of joy and hope.....
I was one of many flood victims in my area...to say that this has been a trying time is an understatement. There is so much to do and so much money to be spent just to get our homes back into the condition that they were in just weeks ago...before the waters came.
Through all of this God has given me a wonderful gift....I have witnessed first hand the true human spirit and many, many acts of kindness that have gone above and beyond wonderful. People are truly good, they really are.
And there is another part of this story that has been my true silver lining...but, for now, I will keep this part of the story as my own secret pleasure...maybe someday, I will share....
