Why Didn't You Tell Me? 12/5/2003 6:06:27 AM
I got an email from my sister this morning who told me that she found out from someone in England that I had this web site. Why didn't you tell me? she asked. I have not told anybody because I just started it and I wanted to put in a few things before I showed it to anybody. I actually enjoy my reviews to the story I wrote about My Dyslexia almost as much as the review for the book I have on amazon.com. I know the reviews will grow as the book starts to sell more. Spreading the word without a Newspaper Review is challenging. But first I need to find a reviewer who has a similar interest.. such as a reviewer who rides a motorcycle. Then I know they will connect with the story and they will then discover that the book is more about life and decisions in life than about motorcycles. I just feel safer if I know they ride. Then the rest will fall into place. Writing the book was like creating a puzzle. I had to make all the pieces fit. But most of all when I hear people say it made them laugh or cry then I know I accomplished my goal. Book sales are secondary to the compliments I get.
