Dear AD friends & fellow authors – Updates & Holiday Greetings 12/23/2007 4:22:34 AM
The last few weeks have not been easy, dear ones. My mother – who has been recently diagnosed with lung cancer, as I’ve shared with you - will be submitted to her first chemotherapy session on the 27th, and Joseph and I will be traveling with her to Spain, where she will be treated, on the 26th, so I have been busier than it is possible to describe, organizing things at home to ensure that my father, a diabetic with many other serious health issues stemming from that condition, receives all the assistance and support he requires, in our absence.
With all this, there haven’t been many opportunities to spend more than a few fleeting moments here, in AD; I did manage to post a poem last week – a heartfelt tribute to Joseph, who has been absolutely wonderful, with his loving and constant support throughout all this crisis – but then, as some of you may have read in my previous blogs, that poem “vanished” from the poetry board, as did a couple of tests I posted afterwards, due to some AD glitch. Well, such glitch, which has affected several other authors, seems to have been dealt with, and all seems to be back to normal… but, alas, now it may be a while until I have another opportunity to post something new, or indeed to stop by at all!
However, I did not want to miss this opportunity – a few more fleeting moments before I have to run… or “flee” again! ;0) – to express my gratitude to all of you, for being so extraordinarily supportive, in so many amazing ways, and for your precious friendship! Also, I would like to send, from my heart to yours – with a detour only through this huge, all encompassing, affectionate {{{{{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}}}}} – my wishes of Health, Love, Light, or, better still, of Harmony, in all aspects and at all levels of Life, throughout the Holidays and well beyond! :0)
