A Very Sad Day

This is a tragic day in American Politics.
I'm not so much upset that Kerry lost as how he lost. It seemed like these rural voters, who are statistically the poorest and least educated, supported Bush overwhelmingly. This is ironic, because they are also the people who will be most hurt by his continued travesties in foreign policy and the economy.
Sons and daughters of rural and conservative voters are more likely to join the military, and so will bear the brunt of the president's future efforts in the perpetual war on terror (alternatively called the war of errors. By the way, this war is nothing new. Look up the Barbary Coast pirates, and check your facts on the civil war; there were even suicide bombers in Afghanistan in the 19th century. Is not war itself a form of terror?) Sons and daughters of rural and conservative voters are also more likely to not have access to things such as a college education, or decent jobs, as they must move into the city and adjust to get those jobs.
My main worry now is that GB will try to institute something like a draft. He doesn't have to worry about re-election anymore, because he successfully has hoodwinked his conservative base into believing they're fighting some kind of comic book war of good and evil (and they're buying it too). So why not just make a draft? Then you can have your Korea and your Iran. "Freedom is on the march," he says, but still doesn't realize that freedom imposed on other countries is really just tyranny by another name. That is a fact of life, and will never change.
Thank you, idiot savant yokels of America, for re-electing the worst president this country has ever seen. I sincerely hope he dies in office by choking on a pretzel, or something equally ridiculous and fitting. It would be even better if it were some sort of act of God, like a heart attack handed down from heaven. That would show 'em. That would be a ray of hope for this nation in decline; even Cheney seems to be better than this moronic cowboy. (And please, a note to all the radicals out there still planning to attack us. It's not our fault that so many people in out of the way places voted so poorly. So New York and Washington DC? They went overwhelmingly for Kerry. In DC, the percentage of Kerry votes was over 90. Those were the two places attacked on 9-11. Get the picture?)
If you are a Bush supporter out there, I have one message: "You are still wrong, and now have succeeded in proving that you want the world to hate us. The presidency of George Bush has created more hatred and terror than Clinton or Bush Sr. combined. Be prepared for decades of Muslim terrorists attacking us abroad and on our own soil. Bush wanted a perpetual war; that's what he saw when 9-11 happened. Be careful what you wish for. And for you Bible-belters, chew on this, the war on terror can never be won, because 'violence begets violence,' or did you forget to read your Bible today?"
