After nearly three months touring Canada and Alaska, I am ready to get back to the book business. I had a bad case of burnout when my wife and I headed off to Alaska in our Dodge pickup pulling our 25-foot fifth-wheel. I had been trying to sell books and warn people of the danger of a central USA earthquake for over a year, and I needed a break.
We drove over 7,200 miles through some spectacular scenery and met some great people. We could have stayed longer, but the bloom left the fireweed, a sure sign that before long the wind and snow will return to the north. Besides, the itch to write and push books has been growing.
So I just made some commitments to stock up on books to sell, to do some final edits and formatting, to make progress on two more books in the oven, and to finish a movie script. I'm back, and happy to be here.
